Things to know when shipping via trucking company

1. Trucking company charges extra for residential delivery. For drop ship orders, we have calculated the price to include this service so there is NO extra charge of residential delivery for drop ship orders.
2. Lift gate charge is $75. This is because the trucker has to bring a lift gate equipped truck, which is usually limited. Most of the time, the driver will help you to unload the freight, but it's not his responsibility if customer didn't request lift gate.
3. Inside delivery charge is an additional $50. Again it's not the drivers responsibility to help you take the freight to the door/ or inside the door if customer didn't request shipping for inside delivery. Customer can instruct the driver to park the truck as close to the door as possible for unloading convenience.

For the above reasons, customers can save money when:

1. Unloading the freight by him or herself (to save $75 lift gate fee) (Most of our freight items weigh under 100 lbs after taking it off the pallet.)

2. Have a helper or a hand truck to bring the freight inside. (to save $50 inside delivery charge)
